Sparkle N Sprinkle's May 2013 Challenge

Hi everyone! May's challenge is using Color swatch courtesy of Design Seeds®) Warm Escape. I have numbered the colors on the swatches, below. So, when you click on the links to my directions at Sparkle N Sprinkle's gallery, you'll know which color(s) to use..

Mushrooms seemed appropriate for this time of year. Out here in Boise, Idaho, it usually rains quite a bit in the Spring, leaving the lawn very damp. Thus, an excellent venue for mushrooms to pop up. This set is Nature Stamp Set 467. To see all the products used and how I made this card, please click HERE.

I went to the paint section of Walmart and found all the colors in paint chips. But, I did discover that the paint chips can be heat embossed with zero trouble. The bad news is - I ended up fussy cutting around each of the leaves and flowers. The good news is - Sparkle N Sprinkle sells the stamps and the flower dies as a set - Blossoms Spellberinder's Combo Set Stamp Set 429. Or you can purchase just the Blossoms Stamp Set 429. Please click HERE to see all the products and instructions for this card.

Check out Sparkle N Sprinkle's Specials. Lots of great things on sale!
And remember to join us for our Blog Hop on May 9 & 10. The theme is At The Beach.

'til next time,
Karalee

  5. Love the softness of the mushrooms - the embossing powder and the lovely colors make them seem really dimensional.... the lattice with the flowers is beautiful too
