Silhouettes

This set, being a silhouette, has given me a new perspective to card creating. Instead of making the stamped image the central focus, the silhouette has incorporated the backgrounds as a major part of the overall picture. I've come up with two cards using Sparkle N Sprinkle's Silhouette stamp set 493.

The background for this card was created with alcohol inks. The colors remind me of a late summer day, just as the sun is setting on the lake, and it's starting to cool off for the evening.

Black, orange, and Missing You! Another card where the background is made with alcohol inks. Just the opposite of the first card, the yellows and oranges make one think of the blazing heat. Click HERE for instructions.

  3. Don't know which I like better - I thought I liked the purple the most, but the oranges and reds are so pretty too! Doing backgrounds for this set looks so fun; I can't wait until I get a chance to play with this set!
